Hey guys, sorry for the short notice but we decided to host a Ground Hog Day Mooney Fly In tomorrow (Feb 2) at Millville KMIV at noon! Cris and I will be there. Anthony, I can give you a ride. Who else wants to join us?

I unfortunately decided no on the go/no go decision today - the snow should be rolling in between 3 and 4 in western MD and the visibility and snow expected here by 4PM just made me choose to stay on the ground. I actually could have made it today!

Enjoy the fly in

Alan, that's one slippery bird! It took me some effort to catch up to you. Who needs a bonanza? Hope you didn't mind me pooling a ride back with you.

I was flogging it , I was 24 square 1500 to 2500 , and when I saw you getting close to my 3 I bumped it up to 2500 rpm 24 MP......  I was surprised you didnt overtake me , you must have been at a lower power setting......I was actually going to close in to a tight formation , but I didnt know what your comfort level was and we were on with atc so I couldnt call you..... The bonanza is stupid fast , at that power setting , I would have been almost 30 + knots faster...

I slowed down not to overtake you on purpose. I was firewalled 2700RPM but 11gph LOP to catch up to you. Then I brought things back to about 50% power and LOP to stay with you (about 2200RPM/24" 7gph).
