fantom Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 More great eating and partying, plus a beautiful flight if you follow the shoreline down. http://www.marathonseafoodfestival.com/ Quote
Hector Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Wow that sounds great. We vacation every year in Sugarloaf key for the mini lobster season. We have a "spot" that we go to every year. We picked 100 lobsters in 3 hours last year. We limited out. I learned to fly down in Tamiami airport so Marathon key was a frequent destination. I'm definitely up for a Marathon trip. Combine seafood and great flying, say no more. Quote
Dale Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Fantom, Looks great. Thanks for posting. The seafood festival looks like a great time. I hope I can make it down to kmth, it's a nice little airport, with a generous 5000 foot runway. The EAA has a small museum next to marathon general aviation and that EAA chapter is one of the largest around. Hope to see you there, if I can make it down. Quote
John Pursell Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Last year, the FBO had a shuttle to the festival. 1 Quote
