Six months in, I now feel like I know enough about my F to benefit from a really sharp Mooney IP for my BFR. Any suggestions? Thanks, Gary

Aaron Dabney in Waco (ACT) can get you squared away, if you don't mind flying a quick cross country up to see him. You can reach him at...

Waco Flying Service

I'm also in Austin next weekend at EDC, but unsure on my schedule at this point. Many IPCs I give last longer than one day, so I would prefer not to commit to anything.

Try Jerry Johnson at 817 454-2426. He bases his C at a grass strip, but lives very close to Alliance. Flying into Alliance is a cinch, and Jerry is top notch.

Bob Cabe in San Antonio...very professional. 210-289-5375. Ray

+1 for Bob.

He is with Flight Training, Inc and specialises in Mooney transition training. I highly recommend him and plan to do my BFR's with him. Flight Training, Inc used to provide the tranisition training for new Mooney's before the factory closed.

I used Bob Cabe, and was extremely pleased.

That was the most useful BFR I ever had, both the book and the flying sides. Bob knows Mooneys to a fare-thee-well, and has a flair for conveying that knowledge. Enthusiastic, professional and fun.

I recommend Mr. Willie Bolton as well for a BFR/IPC 210-860-7393, he's based at San Antonio.

Willie died in the crash of a Mooney earlier this year. Sorry to give you the news here.
