rbridges Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 check me out. M20C w/180HP. Flew from madagascar to perry, ga in 53 minutes. That's over 9,000 miles. The best part is it only took a little over 11 gallons of fuel. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N6099Q Quote
HopePilot Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 That is impressive. I had heard that some of the people behind the SR-71 worked on Mooneys, but I didn't know they installed a secret button I've failed to discover. Quote
1964-M20E Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 That is a special STC #R71 cost is about $80M essentially you take you’re your Mooney emblem off the dash and install it and your tail number on an SR71. It was available a few years ago when the USAF retired the SR71s. Unfortunately I did not own a Mooney then. Quote
FloridaMan Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Where you out there signing your name on those others? Quote

We've been making improvements to our code that interprets the feed from the FAA, but more are coming soon. If you run into any other issues with FlightAware, please let me know.
