rahill Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Does anyone know of detailed engineering diagrams of an M20 (J preferred) that would allow the measurement of the angle of attack during flight. I have an eager high school student working on a physics project dealing with lift, drag, angle of attack, etc. It would be nice to be able to measure the angle of attack in various flight regimes - but we would need to reference the chord line of the wing to a window bottom or some other easily referenced line. Thanks, Rich Hill Quote
rahill Posted May 17, 2012 Author Report Posted May 17, 2012 Answering my own question - the incidence angle is 2.5 degrees (from sta 20 to wingtip) per the Mooney M20J service manual. Pretty diagrams or other info would still be appreciated! Quote
