I recently added a Whelen, but have not yet see it run, as the A&P installed it as part of annual, avionics shop is wiring it.

so actually held the thing today, it was way smaller than the pictures led me to believe, it's like half the size of a coffee mug.  tiny.

Sounds like you have the low drag model! Mine is almost the size of a coke can.

Hi @McMooney,

What make/model beacon is that?  I still have the original beacon on 66 m20e, but would like to upgrade it during next annual.
