RoundTwo Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 I’m searching for the plastic Z-RAIL that attaches behind the rear seats and has a lip that slips under the baggage area carpet. Mine is almost cut into three pieces because the rear seat recline limiting bolts had broken off and the seats were “over-reclined”, cutting through the forward facing portion of this strip. N201MKTurbo Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 I would make replacements out of aluminum. 2 Quote
GeeBee Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 Any one with a good box brake can make that for you. Probably cheaper than factory too. Quote
Utah20Gflyer Posted October 22, 2023 Report Posted October 22, 2023 That looks repairable, I’ve rebuilt much much worse. Abs cement from Home Depot plus white fiberglass drywall tape makes repairs that are generally stronger than the original. Use a heat gun or maybe hair dryer to heat and straighten warped areas. Heat and then clamp between two straight pieces of wood. Missing material can be replaced by creating a form from tape and then filling with abs cement. I think there are quite a few threads on abs interior part repair for more details. Quote

I have a sheet of the same interior ABS I can use for stiffening. 1 Quote

Otherwise repairs are pretty easy, too. Quote
