N9937c Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Checked my lights the other day before a night flight and my rear stobe was not working. Called to get another from mooney dealer and was given a price of $1100.00 for the stobe bulb and nav light unit. Am still in shock! The bulb was in stock. Larry 1981 m20k Quote
LFOD Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Call the salvage yards. I have had excellent luck with the usual suspects. Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Yeah I just forked over $135 for the left hand recog light/reflector assembly. Talking to an A&P about creating an STC for an LED assembly. Quote
N9937c Posted September 24, 2009 Author Report Posted September 24, 2009 Got a call from Mooney and was told they had given me the wrong part number. Correct part number showed a price of about $200. I was shocked to have gotten this call back as I didn't think this kind of customer service existed! My hat is off to the people at MOONEY for their customer support! Larry Quote
MooneyMitch Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Ronnie Kallies is Mooney Customer Service Manager. He has stated that Mooney is trying to be more parts price competitive. Definately hats off to Ronnie for upgrading to this level of customer service. Quote
