She's home!  Windshield looks fantastic -- SWTA did a heck of a job.  Can finally really see out the window!  Used PRIST and a microfiber towel to clean the bugs.  Excellent service (he actually had my plane ready - ON A SUNDAY for me -- granted he had a meeting today but I got there early so that was nice...

Hello again.  When you replaced your SWTA mod windshield, did they use the Great Lakes Aero 201 windshield; 0.187" thick; P/N 2161?  Thanks.

I had JD order it so, I’m not sure. I think he had them make a couple of windshields at the same time since another person wanted the SWTA version. It may be GLAP has a mold for the SWTA version…

I did contact JD about a future replacement.  Appreciate the lead. Need to get my tanks done first.

RPM and MP settings — this is from the MAPA class — e.g.,  2300 RPM (23) + Manifold Pressure (23) = key# 46

This varies depending on engine types and horsepower. Proper key numbers and leaning help with power settings and fuel flow rates…
