DEGWS Posted January 5, 2021 Report Posted January 5, 2021 (edited) Hi and a happy new year! I am preparing everything for 100h inspection starting next week. There is some play in the elevator controls. It seems to be at the Jackshaft Assy. The parts manual only shows there bolts, washers and nuts. Nothing about a bearing. On the attached picture it looks like a bearing?? Want to be sure that I have all parts before disassembling. Any experience? Thanks! Edited January 5, 2021 by DEGWS
Guest Posted January 5, 2021 Report Posted January 5, 2021 Mooney traditionally didn’t break it down to the bearing part number. If you clean the bearing carefully you will likely see the manufacturers part number. You should be able to press out the old bearing and press in a new one. Clarence

Clarence I thought there was a parts portal where service centers could look up sub assy parts numbers.
PT20J Posted January 5, 2021 Report Posted January 5, 2021 Might be a RBC PN3A which Mooney uses on ailerons. I think flaps are PN4A. Skip 1
carusoam Posted January 6, 2021 Report Posted January 6, 2021 Want to test the new communication portal at Mooney.com? sign in, find the ‘air Traffic’ button... put your question in the M20J area... It would be interesting to see the factory response if the system is working... May be too soon... Best regards, -a- 1

DEGWS Posted January 20, 2021 Author Report Posted January 20, 2021 Solved! There are also needle bearings B47, same as for elevator and rudder bellcrank. 1 2
