C-GPGS Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 My original all-in-one 6 gang engine cluster (M20C) has 2 of the 6 guages not working. Is there a shop that can either repair it or a shop that can bench test a used unit that I can buy for replacement.
ragedracer1977 Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 I have one out of my C model (it's for 52 gallon tanks) removed when I installed my JPI. The CHT was flaky, but I never figured out if it was the probe or the gauge. Every thing else worked fine. If you're interested, shoot me a message and we can work out a deal. 1
carusoam Posted December 25, 2020 Report Posted December 25, 2020 There is somebody that OHs the old one.... Rochester gauges? Somebody that sells new sections of the gauges brand new... There are take-outs all over the place... Alan fox....has a collection... Aviation’s version of Sanford... with a full bench of test equipment... Then there are the new versions of digital primary gauges.... digital and color... EI JPI Insight PP thoughts only, not a mechanic... Best regards, -a-
lt58dmtp Posted January 2, 2021 Report Posted January 2, 2021 Best thing I ever did in my Deb was install the JPI. Allowed me to have a much, MUCH greater understanding what the airplane was doing. Looking at a 20D now & that is going to be priority #1 for install.
