I move his seat nearly full aft and mine one more knotch back to be in legal cg. And incidentally...the belts in the 201 are connected to the seat too...the shoulder harness is obviosly not. I had mine rewebbed a bit longer too!!

Jeff_S Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 Quote: Becca This actually leads me to another question - how do you get your two sets of golf clubs in the plane? Do you put them in the baggage compartment and have them overhang the passenger back seats or in the back seats?

John Pleisse Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 I wish I had bought an 84 or new J with fold down seats for clubs, etc....
scottfromiowa Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 In my E I put the seats full aft (when loading) and take woods out of bags. Clubs go in through baggage door (bottom of bag first) and angle back over seat toward baggage compartment. Woods are last in and are put in toward rear seats with ends in hat shelf area. Full use of baggage area is attainable with this loading config, but can't fly with anyone in the back seat in the E. Need other 1/2 of foursome to get there on their own...

GeorgePerry Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 I think we've sunk to Jerry Springer levels. I agree with Jolie, lets move on...
MARZ Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Quote: flight2000 Your seat back do not fold forward? I thought all the 66 and 67 birds had the same interior. In our 67 F the rear seat backs recline and fold forward independently. If necassary the seatbacks can be removed independently. I've had 2 Mtn Bikes (wheels, seat and peddals removed) and luggage in the back with one seat folded forward.

flight2000 Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Wow, I'm jealous now... Wonder why Mooney did that? Maybe the extra room in the mid-body F allowed them to experiment with the new seats. Brian
