atrosa Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Looks like now is the time to buy a Mooney: $64.5 AMUs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZMlIUso1P8 Nice walk around. Quote
flyboy0681 Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Is it me or did the pilot take a full 20 second to bring it up to full power from the moment he first move the throttle forward? Just sayin'. 1 Quote
EricJ Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 That's a nice airplane! That shouldn't last long at that price. About the only things I noticed that seemed like notable concerns were the RTV on the engine case seam and the pulled breakers. 1 Quote
wishboneash Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Seems like autopilot breaker was pulled... that could be a biggie. 1 Quote

If its the original path finder that's the procedure in the POH to turn it off. That's how mine is. It was sold as a full time auto pilot with a yoke cut off so if you want to just hand fly you have to pull the breaker. -Robert Quote

RobertGary1 Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Wonder why she waited so long to pull up the gear. Also climbing at "83 mph" seems pretty lethargic. That's below even my Vx speed. -Robert Quote

Maybe pre Js, but they modified the intake system, the extra MP is barely detectable with analog gauge, maybe extra 0.1-02, that’s why they removed it in later models. Quote
carusoam Posted April 21, 2020 Report Posted April 21, 2020 Are you guys expecting perfection from somebody you never even heard of before? There are a couple oddities in there... definitely not reading a script... I thought the 22knot cross-wind was an interesting day to catch a video... Best regards, -a- 4 Quote
Brian E. Posted April 22, 2020 Report Posted April 22, 2020 The ad & webpage don't state it but the logs show TSMOH is 1489 at the time of the annual. I will say the plane has a certain vintage look to it. Although I do love me a 201 BTW--3 breakers were pulled AP, trim and inst lights. Quote
Mcstealth Posted April 22, 2020 Report Posted April 22, 2020 Tough crowd? Observant group? Call it what you wish but the seller put it out there so he/she lives with the results. Quote
