Ragsf15e Posted February 11, 2020 Report Posted February 11, 2020 So I popped the small “gear control circuit breaker” on the pilot sidewall near the manual extension crank. Resetting it, I realize it’s done. It’s not a positive click to reset, kinda sloppy and definitely old. Thankfully, reset worked because I was airborne. I looked in the parts manual to find the correct part for that and the 25amp gear motor CB right next to it and I get D7071-8-25 and Dsm-5n. Only I can’t find that part number to buy anywhere. Anyone know what current part number I’m looking for? thanks! Quote
carusoam Posted February 11, 2020 Report Posted February 11, 2020 Got a pic? If it’s a standard CB... see Aircraft Spruce... Too hard to tell call Lasar... Best regards, -a- Quote
Ragsf15e Posted February 11, 2020 Author Report Posted February 11, 2020 I was hoping to avoid taking off the plastic emer gear cover before being prepared to fix the CB, but that might have to happen. I did my parts manual research and found the number but that doesn’t seem to exist. I did find an old thread where @Marauder said he replaced his and was hoping he or @M20Doc might just know it. Alright, I’ll get some pictures. Quote
Will work for Flight Posted September 2, 2020 Report Posted September 2, 2020 Did you find the 25 amp CB for the landing gear? I have a ‘67 M20F and have run into the same PN with no cross reference ... Quote

I think if I really wanted to replace it I’d get one from spruce at the appropriate amperage. It seems that the part number doesn’t exist anymore. Calling Lasar is another good option. They have been helpful in the past and may even have the part. 1 Quote
carusoam Posted September 3, 2020 Report Posted September 3, 2020 Welcome aboard WWFF... Getting a CB shouldn’t be too hard... It is a standard part... follow Rag’s ideas... Best regards, -a- Quote

That could definitely be true. My mm and parts catalog were made on the best “xerox” machine available in 1975! A few things are kinda blurry. That one definitely looks like a standard klaxon. The bigger one is a big fat red one (25 amps). Quote
