    Any idea why there are 2 sending units in each fuel tank on a ‘67 m20f?

      Because of the dihedral of the wing two sending units are required. The outside one reads empty at about 10 gal remaining and the inner one is full at about 20 gal. There is circuitry to sum them to give the correct cockpit reading.
