I think I have some that may have gone in a Toyota, but fit my 1980 231's seatback holes; they slide all the way down, no way to adjust that I know of. They work, but little primitive, perhaps.  You'd want to recover them, unless you have a fondness for red and navy tweed. You'd be welcome to them- no charge.

If you go to any auto wrecker that has a lot of Toyota's you should find a good selection. The seat back holes are 6" on center and it appears all Toyota's have the same measurement, I even found some leather ones. $5 ea. You will want to recover them with approved aviation leather or fabric

I have 2 stock 1980 231 dark brown leather headrests. These are leftover from a plane I sold 7 years ago. You are welcome to them.

Here is a picture.

PM me with contact info if you want them.

MooneyKFlyer started this thread and I meant to respond only to him. They are his for postage only, if he wants them. They have been sitting in a 5 gallon bucket in my garage collecting dust for over a dozen years. I am happy to give them a home where they are wanted.

I have a 1982 231 Rocket with fabric seats.  There are no headrests but there are some aluminum caps where I think that hearests should slide in.  Does anyone know if it is possible to remove these caps without taking the material off the seat?  I would also like to know if anyone has some headrests that they would be willing to sell.  I am planning on having the seats recovered in the near future so color is not a concern.  Thank you.
