Dear Mooney Teammates:

It's annual inspection time for my 1966 Mooney M20C Mark 21 (3261) based at Fort Leonard, MO ( KTBN). Can anyone recommend a good, Mooney knowledgeable shop in Missouri; southern, IL; western KY; northwestern Tennessee; northern Arkansas; northeastern Oklahoma; or, eastern Kansas (basically, anywhere in the circle from Kansas City, MO to Springfield, IL to Paducah, KY to Memphis, TN to Little Rock, AR to Tulsa, OK to Topeka, KS?

Alternatively, can anyone comment publicly or privately on experience with Lake Charles Flying Service at Lake Charles, MO (KSET), Lake Aviation Center at Camdenton, MO (H21), or the shop at Higginsville, MO (KHIG)?

It was sure great seeing many of you at Oshkosh. My head was spinning for the first few days from sensory overload. Kim gave me the trip for our 30th wedding anniversary. We camped next to our Mooney abeam the numbers on runway 36 for the full immersion experience. Oshkosh did NOT disappoint! Hope to see many more of you there next year.

Very Sincerely,

Bobby (N6094Q)

Dyersburg Avionics (actually located in Caruthersville MO) or Jewell Aviation (Kennett, MO)..Both are good. Caruthersville as done my last two annuals and most of my upgrades. Neither are Mooney Service Centers, but both very capable with Mooney.

There's an MSC in southern IL--maybe Flora? Midwest Mooney is the name I just remembered. No experience, but they may be inside your preferred range.

Thank you so much, Everyone. Don Maxwell is my first choice, if I must fly commercial after delivering and in order to retrieve my airplane. Here's my list of nearby alternatives so far:

Ivan James, Fredericktown, MO (H88) 573-225-2097

Dyersburg Avionics, Caruthersville MO

Jewell Aviation, Kennett, MO

Midwest Mooney, Flora, IL (KFOA) POC: Matt

McClung Aviation, Mountain View, AR (7M2) POC: Chris McClung 870-615-1407

Thanks again,

Bobby
