I saw my plane or better stated the tail of my plane along with Keith a fellow Mooniac in the most recent AOPA magazine today while displayed as a Mooney Ambassador. .. The image taken on Friday as I polishing up my Ol Bucket of Bolts and hit the tops of Bucko's bird & nose spinner. Great time but having Keith supervise is a whole new experience. .. hey you missed a spot, then another one come faintly back to mind as he stands close by mostly under the shade!

The two display airplanes for Plymouth have been in place since Thursday morning.  Make sure to stop by the booth and say hello.  There might also be a need for someone to work an hour or so talking Mooney with attendees or helping with the kids activities.  If you go, take photos!

September 19-21, Wings Over Wine Country,  Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport KSTS Santa Rosa, California presented by the Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM). The air show is attended by over 20,000 over the weekend. PCAM is one of the rare museums that let you sit in the cockpit of their aircraft. They do a great job of attracting top air show talent, military demonstrations, static displays, general aviation and classic war birds. My first year showing my Mooney I was surprised at how many kids wanted to sit in the plane and pretend they were a pilot. It was non-stop almost all day. I got one break when the biplane owner next to me let me sit in his ship. It turned out to be WWII Ace Bud Anderson. I had no idea the entire time I talked with him that he was Bud! For complete information about the show go to: http://www.wingsoverwinecountry.org For information about the museum go to: http://www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org Martha Curoso is the static display coordinator for the air show. You can email her at MarthaStaticAirshow@live.com with your questions and the proper forms. Our airport is undergoing major construction. The date of this air show has been moved back. Be sure to check the NOTAMS for any up-to-date information as the taxiways are changing on a weekly basis.www.wingsoverwinecountry.org.  Point Person: Scott Peterson.
