  1. ** UPDATED Aug 19th 2020. Prices reduced. I would love to clear this stuff out. Happy to make a deal for bulk. Spend $1000 and I will throw in $150 worth of extra stuff for free and pay shipping to Canada or USA (Offer not eligible on certain items noted below). NEW ITEMS ADDED and some non Mooney items** I have serial numbers for. EVERYTHING is functional/working as intended unless otherwise noted beside the item. If you are interested in an item and the part number doesn’t seem to match please inquire. I have priced things the best I could (25-50% lower on average) based on Texas Air Salvage as well as Ebay but some of them could be out of whack. Don’t hold this against me. If you are interested, simply leave me an offer and we can work something out. I live in Canada so Interac Etransfer from a Canadian bank is great, otherwise PayPal is fine. Prices are USD. Buyer pays actual shipping costs through whatever method is best for both of us, I will not gouge anyone on shipping. Items I have shipped (that fit in a shoebox sized box) generally arrive in 1-2 weeks and cost around 15-20 USD. I offer no warrenty aside from the item working as advertised so I will issue a refund for anything DOA but no time period after so please be prepared to test or install in a reasonable amount of time. You can PM me here, but for a faster response you can email me at kevinhedrei@hotmail.com or call or text 905-399-1588. If I don't respond I'm probably flying. -JPI EDM 700 Engine monitor P/N EGT-7014C. 2. Does anyone have an installation manual for the CI-156 antenna? Specifically looking for a template to make a new gasket. Thx
  3. Having some radio issues. Searching the archives I see some people replaced their antennas to resolve problems. Can an antenna go bad? I have the original 7 shaped antenna. I am going to remove it, clean the bottom, create a new gasket, and clean all the connections. It doesn't seem that the actual antenna which is buried in the plastic can go bad. Am I incorrect?
  4. I am considering changing out my 42 year old CI-156 antenna (see the picture) on my 1975 F. The CI-156 is still available but not easily ordered. The CI-196 which is found on later model Mooneys can be ordered. Does anyone know if the hole configuration of the CI-196 matches up with the CI-156?
  5. Do you have HF in your Mooney? Have you thought about installing HF in your Mooney? What type of HF antenna do you have on your Mooney? What HF radio and ATU are you using in your Mooney? Was HF already in the plane when you got it, or did you have it installed? Aeronautical High Frequency (HF) radio has been the mainstay of long distance Air Traffic Control for over 80 years, especially in areas of the world where coverage with line-of-sight VHF radio is not reliable or possible. Although aircraft satellite ATC communications are now commonplace, HF is still very active for Major World Air Route Areas (MWARA) as well as Regional and Domestic Air Route Areas (RDARA). HF is widely utilized for bush flights and NGOs to communicate with ground mobiles, remote outposts, camps, or portable units. Some pilots who are ham radio operators may also enjoy talking on HF radio with amateur radio enthusiasts. So, there are many reasons for Mooney pilots to want HF capability in their plane.

  7. Glide slope will not come into view on my HSI. No flag, lateral guidance is fine, just redid the interior and fresh annual. Anyone know where that diplexer / splitter resides? Hoe coax routes when it leaves tail? Maybe something got unplugged? Coincidence just did all the interior? Thanks for any help
  8. I am going to install a new antenna for my #2 com that had its antenna removed for the GPS antenna (not by me) that was put in its place. I have the bent wire with the white plastic mount. i was going to install it on the belly but someone mentioned on another thread there is a higher resultant drag on the belly compared to the top and may cause a greater drop in TAS. what do you (others) think, could I see a difference in speed?
  9. Hi gang, After suffering the dreaded belly landing last July, I nearly have my bird back up in the air. My last quest is to replace belly antenna. I'm not sure what some are, but have an idea. My avionics are all king, with rnav/DME vor, marker beacon, storm scope. Two identical blade like antennas fit on belly on either side of nose gear. Not sure what they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty sure that my large blade was a vor/DME. Question: are antennae for king equipment a specific brand? also looking for used equipment. Thanks Tb
  10. I am looking for a KA-44B low profile antenna. I have a KR-87 system I have not been able to sell and I don't want to install it on my aircraft because of the large blade antenna. Does anyone have a low profile antenna sitting in a box somewhere that they might want to get rid off?
