  2. Manual Fields on mine. Works Great!
  3. I replaced mine with the 149-nl and my hot start issues are gone. I would never switch back. That being said, these starters are lighter which is great but they don't have the capacity to absorb heat as well as the stock units. If is doesn't start observe the restrictions as outlined on the placard that comes in the box. If you crank it endlessly it will burn up. One caveat- I also replaced my battery with a new Concord extra capacity at the same time. joe 70 m20f Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Either the dog was wrong, the handler misread the dog, or the handler faked the event. My point is these wonderful animals are essentially four legged search warrants and I'm curious if there are any checks and balances with regards to the "track record" of the dog handler combo. If my right to privacy is to be violated utilizing this kind of probable cause what is the standard? Is 75% good enough? 50%? Do they keep up with the stats? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I would be interested in the dog's record. He obviously offered a false positive in this case. How many times does he (or the dog handler team) have to be wrong before probable cause is no longer valid? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I was surfing around investigating FAR 91.11 as it relates these kinds of stops and stumble onto this contact info: Ralph Modisette CBP Headquarters Program Manager, General Aviation – Private Aircraft Operators ralph.modisette@dhs.gov 972-973-9844
  7. I'm replacing the mounts on my 70 F model but I'm second guessing the part number. Lord shows the 70 F model but the serial number range is out of whack. 670001 through 22-1438. Mine is #7000700. Another chart just shows F models through 77. Any suggestions? joe
  8. Congrats! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. My F model will do the same with flaps at TO setting. She will wheel barrow if left to her own devices. I have to trim properly and use some back pressure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Paul, check the MEL in your owners manual. It should be directly after the limitations section that shows you maximum temps and such. Probably broken down into vfr, ifr, night..... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. My owners manual (1970) has a minimum equipment list that includes the CHT but not the EGT. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I've will be removing an JPI EDM 700 (2 1/4, 4C, no ff) and the associated probes from my 1970 F model in the next couple of weeks. I'm installing a new panel and replacing the primaries. Installed two years ago. Works beautifully! I also have an FS-450 fuel flow and associated sensor. $800 for the EDM and $325 for the FS 450. SOLD BOTH joe 434 607-3243
  13. JohnB, I installed the manual this year and have been very pleased. The bulb is tucked neatly under the arm rest and is easily accessible from either seat. I did not have any concerns regarding the old AD but I opted for the much simpler install. No regrets. I'll see if I can find a pic. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Do you still have this gauge? If so, does it function properly? thanks Joe joe@uavpro.com
