  1. Really nice
  2. I agree. This was my rationale too for the ASPEN and a 750. Oscar
  3. Looks really great. I think your advice is really right on the money...the mfd is absolutely astonishing... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  4. Yes they are great! I am not sure if i should install a second aspen or a gtn650 in addition to my 750 to replace a 430. Any opinions? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. I calibrated my 830 and mostly the data looks good and accurate. When I get an outlier in many cases it is because I just did not fuel the tanks correctly ... Not really full, etc. What I started doing is simply burn 10gal per tank based on the fuel flow and then switch tanks, instead of switching tanks every 30 min or hour.
  6. Really nice
  7. I heard they are filming a sequel to Top Gun.... anybody knows anything about that...
  8. thanks guys. I know that the 830 is not certified. But is is always nice to have the information in one place with alarms, etc. I also rely more on the fuel flow, than the tank leves (my senders get stuck too), but having two tanks can confuse you if don't keep track how much you consumed from each one. thus it would be nice to have that information too.
  9. Thanks good suggestions. I will have the avionics guy look into it. Oscar Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. Thank Larry, will try too.
  11. I am also getting pissed... Now at powering the unit up I get an error message, saying that the GPS is not connected and that a dealer should check the coaxial cable... once the unit is up and running the message disappears... go figure..any suggestions.... You would imagine that Garmin should have better quality control... But to respond to your specific question, the be(a)ch boys just said that I should call Garmin... Not much help. Oscar
  12. Bob, I really like you panel, do you have a JPI 930?
  13. Bob Normally when I fly IMC I use the SV2 option, which puts SV on the Attitude indicator, but keeps the HSI part without the SV. Otherwise it gets too crowded.
  14. Hi Bob, I had it installed as part of my panel upgrade. I am very happy with it. There are different options on how you can display it. It will depend on your preferences. If you look at my pictures in the gallery you can see the SV working.
  15. Great...wonderful views... I really enjoyed flying out of KGAI while I was based in DC.
  16. Nathan, thanks I really love it... although I have to say that I am still learning and getting used to all that glass... the other day I was trying to figure out how to use the GTN 750 during an ILS approach and I got SERIOUSLY behind the airplane...
  17. thanks...would love to see yours
  18. nice
  19. thank you
  20. I am going to post the question on the Beechtalk side, there are some Garmin guys who answer sometimes. May be we can get some answers.
  21. I am having the same problem with my GTN750. So any advice...please...

  23. I will. But the camera I used for the interior shots did not do such a great job (too dark)...I will try to get a better one... may be a go pro... any suggestions?
  24. I know, I must be already boring more than one with my fligths...but...here goes another one from my flight to the iztapa airshow on Sunday... The good news is that my copilot Mateo loved it...The only problem was that I had to descent from 11k to 0 in only 10 miles and it was hard on his ears and he started crying!!! I must say i felt really bad. But fortunately he still thinks that flying is COOOOLLL. Hope you enjoy
