  1. No can do , pulled the flaps , ailerons , inspection covers , autopilot servo , and sold the wings for .50 a lb....
  2. B exhaust is different , you have two exhausts and mufflers , and a different air box....... This has 1 muff and 1 tail....
  3. Keep in mind I cut the tail off in about 90 seconds , They are not as strong as you think they are...... You would be amazed.......
  4. Grand Rapids FSDO came out and inspected it , Denying the permit just moved up the timeline and cost me another 1500.00 in the grand scheme of things....If there is corrosion on an Aluminum spar cap and skin , what does it look like where the steel splices are in the wings , there were 337s for welded members in the cage.... I wasnt putting someone in this airplane , I too have to sleep at night ..... The reality is that these things dont last forever , 50 years is a fantastic run for an airplane , and there is a time when you have to pack it in.........It was worth substantially less than the sum of its parts........... P.E.T.A. People Eating Tasty Animals.....Where do I sign up?????
  5. This is a steal folks , includes all the stacks too!!!
  6. How do you think I felt holding the sawzall ?????? It wasnt pleasant......
  7. This was a Porsche converted to a Bravo...... When Porsche dropped the program , the engines were orphaned , even though they have car engines you cant use car parts on them legally , So they were all converted over to a 550 , They have a A.D. for valve springs , that essentially grounds them..... I dont know of any that were not converted to the 550....
  8. The owner didnt want to put a wing on it , So he sold it , I bought it , It is worth more in parts , If everyone wanted to save it , How come I was the only one to step up to the plate and buy it .........Forget about the fact that most of you are buying parts of this plane , and forget about the fact that 80% of this plane will fly again...... I took one out of a hanger after 20 years , got it in nice flying condition , and no one will give me more than 30 K for an E model.... Why would I make the same mistake twice?????
  9. Well lets look at the "up" side to this tragedy , Perhaps someone will learn from this and make a better decision in the future...
  10. Yes, but wont fit easily if you have the Lasar rudder root fairing....It is the factory part from a J model...
  11. Chris , call me we usually have a house ,
  12. I'm tempted to buy them myself !!!
  13. I dont know what the fasteners on the panels are for ,It should have fasteners in the the edge of the wing skin.... Maybe has to do with the landing light???? I have good used panels to replace them with if needed.....
  14. Kurt they are not Lasar , they are O.E.M. Mooney fairings purchased from Wilmar for the J model , Far superior to the Lasar , and much easier to install.....Also dont need an STC as they are OEM.......
  15. Just to Clarify , Skytec is the O.E. starter for Lycoming.....Its not aftermarket , requires no STC , and it KICKS ASS .......If it breaks they will replace it for free......It is the starter equivilent of a Concorde battery......
  16. Somewhere between a pinch , and a heap......
  17. You going Chris???? My friends in the Yaks are going down , and they party hard.....I havent committed yet.....Was offered a ride down in a Yak , but flat out refused......7 hours sitting on a parachute sucks at best!!!!
  18. The reference has to do with the density altitude being close to 9000 feet , rendering a 200HP NA Aircraft to approx 110 HP .... Any pilot with half a brain wouldnt do that with NO WINDS and max gross weight..... And it wouldnt be fine with 300 HP at max gross weight either.......
  19. Selling inspection plates , have about a hundred of em in in pristine condition , Little ones are 12.00 , Big ones are 16.00 , Call Alan 856 419 5209....
  20. Feds actually came out and inspected it , wanted x rays etc..... Did'nt fit my time restraints ....... Honestly I was probably going to part it anyway , but it would have been a lot less expensive to fly it back in one piece....
  21. These are the same lenghth as the M20J so they probably fit most all mooneys , Check your parts manuals folks......
  22. Agreed , Chalk that one up to the F.A.A. as they refused a ferry permit....
  23. All of them , but the interior is nothing to be proud of....
  24. Selling instrument cluster from a 63 M20C .. Tested , works, Call Alan 856 419 5209 200.00
  25. Looks new tested , 6/2010 overhaul by metro ....... Removed from M20C , will fit any carbeurated Mooney....Garwin.... Asking 200.00 Call Alan 856 419 5209.....
