  1. Is that a shake it, shake it...shake it like a Polaroid photo of your plane?
  2. Personal preference Hank. My wrist measurement is 8”. I like a large diameter face and big case widths don’t bother me...I prefer them. Fits in jackets and shirt sleeves just fine...and if it didn’t you would just see watch porn, which is a win for me.
  3. I am...compensating...”readers”...lol
  4. My current “go to” is my newest watch acquisition. The Luminox 30th anniversary Limited Edition. Kel and I were in Aruba in March right before “The Vid” lockdown and jeweler had it. I looked at number and it is the only number I covet “352”. I am a big Erich Hartmann “stuff” collector and that was his kill total. I passed on my military red face Luminox NAVY SEAL watch that I carried while serving to my son. Tritium on that guy is fading with half life’s . I miss it, but it is on my favorite wrist (beside my bestie)now and witnessed some birds coming to the fate of Hartmann’s quarry in the field. Time marches on...One tick at a time.
  5. Very nice. A Submariner is a bucket list for me. Really special that they were your fathers.
  6. Ready to ship today. AHEAD of schedule. Not meeting, EXCEEDING expectations. A rare customer service experience.
  7. The personal touch and over the top communication throughout the process has been exemplary. I am blown away by the high quality of the experience. I don’t need to be a prop expert...because I have one in Cody Stallings. Like my mechanic Brian, I trust Cody and his team with my and my families life.
  8. Cody’s team working magic on our Missile prop. Just a thing of beauty...
  9. And speaking of the song TIME from Dark Side of the Moon is pretty damn great.
  10. Time. Keeps flowing like a river. On and on. To the sea....To the sea!!!!
  11. Another lost to the Dark Side...
  12. Now we’re talking. The “Gold-Standard”xTwo. Well played Eight8. Well played indeed. Love em! Can anyone top this? I have my idea, but I am going to hold off for other worthy contestants.
  13. Variety is the spice of life. Can’t do it with women OR Airplanes, so watches and weapons have to do
  14. Let me think on that....No Hey, just like Judge in Caddyshack as stated by Rodney D....Awww, never mind. So what did that baby set you back? I am thinking you could buy a bulk pack of X number and resell on Ebay. Engineers and mathematicians will flock to the nostalgia of that most wonderful decade: 1970’s.... Do you still roll with the red velour seats that Ricardo Montebahn made famous in his Corranado....”Look what they have done to my car?” As proudly worn by circa 1977 Mooney drivers. Sweet.
  15. Wrong thread Nosky You “high tech” guy you...
  16. Great Grandpa’s railroad watch.
  17. Those U-Boat watches are very cool Paul. I have never seen those before. What is story on those?
  18. That’s actually very cool. I would love to see some of your collection. I just have one. Was my Great Grandfathers (dad’s side) and he received as a retirement gift. Works great, but I don’t carry it.
  19. Come on man. If your going to slang on my porn you have to give a little. Let’s see what ‘cha got.
  20. Two more pics. One of the Beauty of Up North and our annual is progressing nicely with 830 rotated to landscape and install of Superclock and combination volt/amp gauges. CO Monitor will be re-velcroed in new position below gear switch.
  21. Love the Invicta. Big chunktastic fun that is “take it in the lake” (without worry) guy. An old friend.
  22. I prefer traditional wrist watches to Smart Watches”. Anyone else wear old school time pieces instead of computers on their wrist? Wrist watches are works of art. I feel naked without them. I do have a Garmin Approach for gps yardage on golf course, but that is as techy as I get on wrist calculators.
  23. A High Wing Airplane is NOT a Mooney. The idea of the “E” as the “Sweetspot” is a little amusing to me. I like the idea of re-working the gear on the Mooney as well as getting more gross weight capability. The Mid-Body Mooney strikes a better balance between to small and to big. I look forward to seeing what Mooney comes up with to compete again. What I really want is for them to remain in business and support the existing fleet.
  24. I disagree with that to the fullest extent of the law
  25. Hope not. I was thinking operator error, on my part, but I have reviewed manual...Have on mini so not without, but disappointed at not painting either traffic or weather on Aera...
