FS: NEW WAT PAR-36 G3 Landing and Taxi Lights
OSUAV8TER replied to OSUAV8TER's topic in Avionics / Parts Classifieds
If you tried ordering and it said out of stock, that's not true - that was a website issue. I have plenty of landing light G3s in stock and very limited taxi lights at the moment. I have 15 more taxi lights on the way. These lights are the bomb. -
If you missed it at Oshkosh, Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) announced and released their new Parmetheus G3 PAR-36 landing and taxi lights. At Oshkosh everyone sold out of their stock of G3s because they were so popular. I got to play with these a little bit prior to the release and they are incredible lights for the money. Incomparable I'd say. They are 2.5 times brighter then the PAR-36 Parmetheus Plus series LED landing and taxi lights boasting close to 140,000 candela power for the landing light. They are even brighter than the WAT Parmetheus Pro. If you're looking for landing and taxi light upgrade, this is it. The G3 is compatible with both 14V and 28V electrical systems. I have them in stock and ready to go. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/wh ... hting.html <-- Order here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=whelen+aerospace+technologies+g3 Here are some comparative photos I took using a tripod mounted DSLR with the same exact camera settings. Dropped the lower cowl on my C today
OSUAV8TER replied to M20 Ogler's topic in Vintage Mooneys (pre-J models)
You need a PAR-46 size LED landing light (5.75" in diameter). I am a Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) LED dealer and I carry the PAR-46 Parmetheus Plus for $300 and the PAR-46 Parmetheus Pro for $599.99. The Pro is about twice is as bright as the Plus. Here are some photos I took of its smaller cousin, the PAR-36 Parmetheus Pro versus a lower grade Aerolite LED landing light. You get what you pay for. M20C fuel cap O ring part number
OSUAV8TER replied to Mark1964M20C's topic in Vintage Mooneys (pre-J models)
Order fluorosilicone fuel cap o-ring kits at www.gallagheraviationllc.com/products You will need the Shaw 431/531 fuel cap kit. It comes with the big o-ring, small o-ring for the plunger, and cotter pins. -
I carry the large and small o-ring for the fuel caps. McPeck and Guy do the fuel tank gaskets. Marsh Brothers have the C hardware ring. Look, these fuel caps are wearing out and taking care of them can slow that down significantly. They need to be taken care of. www.gallagheraviationllc.com/products <-- Order fuel cap o-ring kits here.

FS: NEW WAT Orion 660 LED Wingtip Lights!
OSUAV8TER replied to OSUAV8TER's topic in Avionics / Parts Classifieds
They are brighter than the previous generation Orion 650 but the same as the new generation Orion 650 which made its debut in April of this year. Supply chain challenges have made its roll out a little lack luster in my opinion. Here is a Youtube video WAT put out. https://youtu.be/x3ktJcQgPJI -
PAR36/46 LEDs for M20K 252 landing/taxi lights?
OSUAV8TER replied to shawnd's topic in Modern Mooney Discussion
Thanks for the PIREP, nice video, and beautiful Mooney! -
I now have in stock and ready to ship the Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) Orion 660 LED wingtip light. The Orion 660 maintains the same footprint as the Orion 650 or your legacy Whelen A650. The difference is that the Orion 660 has a rear facing LED white position light in addition to the forward facing LED green or red position light, and a white LED strobe light that provides 180 degrees of coverage. With the Orion 660, you no longer need a tail position or strobe light. They come in both 14V and 28V and these will work well with some model Mooneys. Gallagher Aviation has these in stock and ready to ship!Jameshttps://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/whelen-aircraft-lighting.html <-- My WAT LED websitegallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me with questions, need advice, or need a quote1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me and talk to me

Do not go with the straight Orion 650. While it will work, it is not the appropriate light for your embedded lights inside of your wing.
