pre-buy in west texas

Hi.  I just stumbled across this site recently and everyone seems extremely knowledgeable!  I am looking at an older M20C in West Texas and was hoping to find someone that could do a compression check and make a general assessment of the plane (ie. is it worth buying).  Any help will be appreciated.

I'd use Don Mawell in Longview. Heard nothing but good things from people who have used him plus he has helpful articles under the publications page on his website.  Not sure how far west you are, but there are also some good places near San Antonio.

Dugosh in Kerrville would also be a good choice.  If the Mooney is airworthy then Kerrville/SAT isn't too far away!  Maxwell is great too, but on the other side of the great state of Texas.

I'd go to DUGOSH in Kerville.  Wouldn't go to the factory.  They have a bunch of inexperienced kids.  Dugosh all the way.
