Pinecone Posted June 24 Report Posted June 24 Light versus dark on the cockpit can make a huge difference in interior temp. I have spent many hours sitting in a vehicle at road construction sites. And the difference between a black vehicle and a white one is significant. I also recall an article in a motorcycle magazine about the difference in temperature between a white helmet and a black one. IIRC it was over 10 degrees. Quote
Aerodon Posted Monday at 03:50 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:50 PM A shout out to Scheme Designers. Even if you are duplicating a factory scheme, it is well worth the process of trying different colors and having a spec sheet that you can give to the paint shop. And you can even get paint masks made up. If you are messing around with curved lines, you do not want to rely on the paint shop guy 'eyeballing' it and laying out curves. You will end up with some clunky lines. Aerodon 1 Quote
MikeOH Posted Monday at 09:11 PM Report Posted Monday at 09:11 PM What kind of money are we talking when using Scheme Designers? Or, is it one of those, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it?" situations? Quote
