NickG
Does anyone know how easy or hard it is to remove the front right seat in the Ovation? I want to try a configuration with the right seat removed then my wife and dogs could sit in the back for long trips.
Fritz1
Takes about 10 min, remove stop bolts on rail front and back, slide seat out of rail, remove seal belt, take seat out of cockpit, do not ding wing skins
Tommooney
It helps for the seat to be either cranked full up or full down, I forget which. Try both. I saw a youtube somewhere on this. Also, It was a couple years before I figured out I can take / pull the seat bottoms right up and out for cleaning as they are only velcroed in. NickG
Wow,, thanks for the advice. It seems easy. How would I account for the removal of a front seat on the WB calcs….

Weigh the seat and enter the negative of that weight in the calculation.
