OR75 Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 I want to replace the 2 hoses going to and from the oil cooler the fittings are $450+ / each (90degrees and 45degrees) ! Any shop would reuse the fittings to built a new hose ? Any good reason not to re-use the fittings ? Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 Call the hose shop and ask. Call AeroPerformance in Chandler AZ. It is Aircraft Spruce’s hose shop. 1 Quote
Yetti Posted September 8, 2024 Report Posted September 8, 2024 call https://www.aircrafthose.com/ In theory you can order new hose and reuse the fittings. Some would say you need to pressure test the hose. 1 Quote
Bart Chilcott Posted September 8, 2024 Report Posted September 8, 2024 I just had ALL hoses firewall forward replaced. The oil cooler hoses were the most expensive with their 90 degree bends. I used Aerospace Turbine Rotables here in Wichita KS. They produced them all in two days. Call (316)-943-6100 and ask for Erica in the hose shop. She can get you a quote to compare to other shops. I was happy with what they produced, although they were expensive! 1 Quote
Hank Posted September 8, 2024 Report Posted September 8, 2024 Buy your hours with integral firesleeves. It's less expensive than adding separate firesleeves at install. That's what I did. I called a hose shop, then LASAR--turned out I had called LASAR's shop, but a friend gave me the number. Looks like it's listed above. Quote
