P2 Location

Looking to find out where the G2 may be installed in other Mooney aircraft. According to install manual, it should be behind the panel. This one is not there. Waiting for customer to bring 337 and any install docs to me. Thought I would survey the group for your locations. I am thinking this unit is behind the interior panel next to the wing root area where the pitot line comes through. Thanks in advance.

On an M20S I would have guessed behind the panel on the right side. Maybe the avionics bay in front of the batteries?

Sorry Guys, It is the P2 audio alert system. no luck behind panel or avionics bay. So far we have traced the wiring down to somewhere near the wing root where the pitot line comes through. We will have to pull the cabin sidewall to dig any further at this point.

They are normally installed in the avionics bay vertically on the bulkhead.
