Derrickearly Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 (edited) I'm looking for this oil fitting with item number 35 and part number 620008-000. Any suggestions? Thank you! Update: Looks like Mooney is willing to deliver this part. Edited May 1 by Derrickearly Quote
Yetti Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 Should be a standard AN fitting. Can use brass or alum. Aeroquip. Depending it might be in the aviation plumbing section of Home Depot. 1 Quote
Derrickearly Posted April 30 Author Report Posted April 30 I'll go to my local home depot and ask for the mooney plumbing section. :-) Unfortunately, its a mooney part. Other fitting part numbers are standard AN's. Not sure why this one is "special". Quote
Yetti Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 Might want to give a hint on where it goes on the plane. Looks like the oil lines on the back of the engine. Quote

Bet a dollar it's a Lycoming part. Look in the Lycoming manual. Try Air Power. If it is one of those fittings with an o ring on it, They are used in the auto parts. NAPA may also have it.. Unfortunately, the fitting that I'm looking for goes into where the plug (item 16) goes. Edited April 30 by Derrickearly Quote
PT20J Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 If you call Frank Crawford at Mooney, he can look up the drawing and tell you if there is anything special about it. Mooney sometimes modifies standard AN fittings (for example to add a flow restriction for instrument connections or to make a right angle sniffle valve). I don’t see why a mod would be needed here, but the drawing will tell. 1 Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/oilfuelflow05-11908.php It will give you more time aloft if you have a failure of the hose. Oops, I don't think that is the one you are looking for. 1 Quote
