Retractable step replacement

My vacuum step servo is torn and I’m thinking of replacing it with an electro mechanical  one. The vendor is flightenhancement llc out of CT. Has anybody used them and is the step worth it if you have?

I did the electric step when I removed the vacuum system from my plane.  It has worked well with no issues.

I have one on my plane.  The servo that retracts the step went bad soon after install.  They replaced it fast and I have had no trouble since.  I like the product and I think they have great customer service.

Yes, I love it. The installation was easy and it has been trouble free since I put it in about 3-4 years ago.

To any that are proactively replacing your functional vacuum oem steps with electric. Put your old steps up for sale please.

You mean the Brittain servos?  Good idea.  I think you use the original step.

FWIW, I bought a used step servo and then ended up replacing it with electric shortly after. Wished I had just bit the bullet and gone electric from the start.
