corn_flake Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Does any one knows the size of grease fitting on M20E's landing gear? My IA and I broke the one all the way in the more recess area of the gear. Now I'm on the hunt to find replacement. Quote

M20F Posted February 11 Report Posted February 11 And given 50+ years the size is the size find what fits. Quote
EricJ Posted February 11 Report Posted February 11 They qualify as standard parts, and they're pretty common, so no need to overspend. 1 Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted February 11 Report Posted February 11 The part numbers specified in the parts manual are all available on line for little money. You might as well use the right parts. Quote

N201MKTurbo Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 It was supposed to attach the whole catalog, but it only did the cover. Quote
PT20J Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 At least on the M20J, some were screw in and some were press fit. Quote
CaptainRamius Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 LockNLube has a neat tool to extract the grease fittings and retap if necessary. Zerks on my M20C are not standard. 2 different sizes on NLG. Some 7/32" others seems to be 7mm. IDK how metric can be on a 65 American airplane. https://locknlube.com/products/grease-fitting-multi-tool-small Quote
