4 PLY or 6 PLY

Needed a NG tire so I check online to see what ply to go with, said a 4 ply for an M20C so I order it. Today I get down and look and it has a 6PLY. Thoughts?

i remember reading that the number of plies can impact how much the tire size can change with temperature and pressure (and could stay stuck in the gear well if it is the wrong number of plies).  Not sure how much of that is real but the only way is to go by the book.

from the type certificate:

206. .......One, Nose Wheel, 4-Ply Rating tire
              (a) 5.00-5, Type III w/ regular tube ................................................................... 7 lbs. ....................... See Note 8.

Remember to get the modern tube that requires air about twice per year instead of every month.
