The coolest part of my M20C was it’s ability to turn a 250mile trip into a 200mile trip by going in a straight line...

The 150mph Cruise was icing on the cake

The 15minutes saved while flying an Ovation... doesn’t ever get noticed by the sleeping back seaters... :)

The C also taught me geography... New England is known to be pretty far North from NJ... but...

We get there by flying mostly East.... From here...

Amen to this. Atlanta is almost due south of Cleveland, Ohio. LA is east of Reno. Where we think things are rarely matches where they really are.

I was shocked on my first flight from extreme west WV to my brother's house SE of Atlanta. My course was 190, where I was expecting 160-ish . . . .
