bnicolette Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 OMG, I can’t even believe I am typing this out, but I am going to be switching jobs and quitting my commute to Wilmington, DE. So, I really won’t be “needing” my 201 anymore and won’t be able to afford it. I have spared no expense with it since I bought it at the beginning of the year and it is a great airplane. I hate to see it go but family is first. I am taking a much lower paying job but it will allow me to be home much more often. Pictures can be found in my gallery and following are the “approx” times and specs: Year 1982 Mooney M20J 201 TT 2600 SMOH 600 SPOH 600 Annual was done in February 2011 at a MSC. Was maintained by a MSC for the last 23 years. Paint and interior are in outstanding shape. Both done in mid 1990's Century 31 Autopilot which has altitude hold. JPI 830 Engine Monitor with all available components! 2 attitude indicators (one electric/one vacuum) HSI KNS 80 RNAV/ILS/DME/VOR/LOC KX 165 KY 197 Apollo 360 GPS with update plug in circuit breaker panel Garmin 396 w/XM weather The following work was completed this year by a MSC or a professional shop: JPI 830 installed 2 overhauled attitude indicators Magneto overhauled New Lord mounts installed Injectors were all taken off and cleaned New spark plugs Yokes wrapped in leather with Mooney logo Floor mats with Mooney logo Oil analysis with oil changes Dynamic Prop Balance Compressions all mid to high 70’s Damage history: Gear up in 1999. That is when the engine was overhauled as well. Very light damage. Have the repair sheets from the MSC that handled the repair. Please email me with any questions. Many pictures available. Whole airplane, wheel wells, engine compartment, interior, exterior, etc. Whatever you want to see. Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Sorry you've gotta let your plane go Quote
bnicolette Posted August 25, 2011 Author Report Posted August 25, 2011 Thanks Parker. I have literally feel in love with this airplane and always can't wait to go fly it even if it's just around the local area. Oh well, life goes on!! Quote
bnicolette Posted August 30, 2011 Author Report Posted August 30, 2011 Here are a couple videos I did of the interior and exterior of the plane the other day: Exterior Interior Quote
bnicolette Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 Another video I did of the paperwork. Paperwork Quote
John Pleisse Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Brett...sorry you are letting it go. Congrats on your decision.... John Quote
bnicolette Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 Thanks John, I'm still not 100% sure I want to let it go yet. I guess i'm just kind of testing the waters right now. I just need a good excuse to keep it and it not selling would be a GREAT excuse. :-) Quote
jetdriven Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 what is your asking price? Quote
PTK Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Brett, have you thought of keeping the Mooney and selling the Falcon instead! Just a thought! Quote
bnicolette Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 Hey Doc, Good idea. Then I could retire and be what I really always wanted to be...............Independantly wealthy!!! I'm not flying the Falcon anymore though.......I went back to flying charter in Learjets so I didn't have to move to Wilmington, DE aka "the pit of the earth". Sorry to anybody from ILG but it wasn't my cup of tea and certainly didn't want to move there. PM sent to you doc I am "asking" 95K. Quote
