carusoam
If going to freeway... make sure your homework is done properly. Location and runway length can be challenging... Best regards, -a-

Location and runway length can be challenging... Best regards, -a- I'm familiar with the area, but did notice the runway is on the shortish side for a K... Also I noticed there were a few accidents with mooneys departing W00 in the past couple of months - one landed on the highway the other one ended up in the trees. INA201
I’ve had excellent, thorough work done by Cole. They will be doing my annuals and Mooney specific repairs going forward as well. I have also also heard nothing but good things about AGL.
bradp
@AGL Aviation for sure. They do really solid work. Lynn is a superb mooney mechanic and works closely with Don Maxwell. I would avoid central Virginia based on shared experiences. Weber does good work too. They did my control surface reskinning.
Seth
Hi Ricky and sorry for being late to the party. I have experience with both Freeway at W00 and AirMods in NJ. I recommend both. Freeway has the smaller runway and is closer to you and thus you can drive over to check up on any extended repairs. We also have a good list of local Mooney owners who would be happy to help ferry you back and forth from JYO to NJ or MD. I’ll PM you my contact info. I’m over at JYO often as I also fly charters for OpenAir. Welcome to Mooney ownership and thank you for bringing another M20K to the Greater Washington DC Area. I base my Mooney Missile at GAI. -Seth
