ZFD Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 During my annual inspection we found some play in the flap attachment fitting where it attaches to the wing. I have attached a photo with the part in question marked with the arrow. My problem is two fold: 1. I can't seem to find the part number from the Mooney IPC 2. How do we gain access to the area to either repair or replace the part Any help would be appreciated. Bruce Quote
carusoam Posted January 23, 2019 Report Posted January 23, 2019 Spar cracks and flap attachment points come up in conversation every now and then... Searching on stub spar and other words that are related might be helpful... @M20Doc might be helpful finding what you are looking for... Best regards, -a- Quote
Guest Posted January 23, 2019 Report Posted January 23, 2019 The attachment bolts are above the gap seal. Clarence Quote
ZFD Posted January 23, 2019 Author Report Posted January 23, 2019 Thanks Clarence, I see the offending parts are 1-22 and 1-29. Is access gained by drilling out the Avex pop rivets? Quote
