Prebuy inspection Denver area

I am considering having a prebuy inspection done at Arapahoe Aero in Englewood Colorado. Has anyone had any experience working with them?

I have been there several times for maintenance, annuals and pre-buy. They are a good bunch of folks. You should not have any troubles. They have a good reputation. They are a long standing MSC. Scott is the service manager-VERY knowledgeable about Mooney's. After the work has ben completed he has alway sat down with me and explains in detail what was done....and why.

Thanks for the feedback. Scott was thorough in explaining what they do in the pre-buy process. We also discussed combining a pre-buy with the annual.

Another upvote for Arapahoe Aero.  We do most of our maintenance done at our home drome (KLMO) but take the airplane to Arapahoe Aero for the occasional Mooney-specific issue (most notably patching fuel tank seeps).  Always had good service.

Arapahoe Aero worked on my Mooneys for 12 years and my RV for 5. Never had a bad experience with them. Scott Utz and his crew are top notch.

Now that I've sold my Mooneys and moved my RV to CA, I'm really going to miss working with them.

I'd go to Scott at arapahoe aero over maxwell. ANY DAY.

They are however extremely busy and it might take time to get it in for inspection. They're incredibly thorough. If there's a page missing in the POH, they'll find it. Literally. They did on our annual.
