jpusser Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 I am having mag trouble again. I originally had a bad lead, it had almost rubbed in half. It was causing a mag drop of 300 and a bad miss. I fixed that and now am getting a drop of 150 on the right and hardly any on the left. Doesn't seem to be a miss and I can still get full rpm on the right. Any suggestions?
jpusser Posted April 27, 2011 Author Report Posted April 27, 2011 Does anyone know what mag part number I would need from spruce, they are the original bandix. Does anyone have a used mag that will work for sale. It's a 62c

Kwixdraw Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Second the A&P advice. You need someone to look at your logs and check to see what service has been done and needs to be done. Mags need someone who has the equipment and knowledge to do the job correctly. Just using the wrong grease is enough to really screw up a mag overhaul.
