Tommy Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Hi all! Have been doing quite a bit of long boring x-country flight lately and I always miss having the arm rest so I can truly sit back and relax! Wonder if it's legal to modify your seat to add in an arm rest and if so has anyone here did that? Thanks! Quote
TWinter Posted February 28, 2018 Report Posted February 28, 2018 We had to improvise... Here was my solution for a short-body E. There is a extension that can go on front or swap it around and you can put the drink holder on the front side. 3 Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted February 28, 2018 Report Posted February 28, 2018 I flew a 310 to KCRQ last Sunday. You can really get spoiled. Your right arm just sits on the arm rest with your hand resting on the throttles, or not. Oh if it only burned 10 GPH.... Quote

How do you fit it so it's secure? Thanks Quote
Tommy Posted March 1, 2018 Author Report Posted March 1, 2018 Actually looking at flip up arm rest rather than central console type. Quote

Would love to have something like this on long flights. Would also make access to the manual trim wheel and speed brakes easy. Quote
