Jvancecpa Posted October 21, 2017 Report Posted October 21, 2017 (edited) Love flying above the clouds on a beautiful day (above the clouds) with the ceilings high enough to not shoot approaches to minimums. Coming back from Georgia on a late Saturday afternoon. Filmed using my IPhone so apologize for the "non-professional" images but still fun. BKlott Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 There is nothing quite like scooting along on the other side of the clouds. Quote

Bartman Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 I like winter flying, just as long as temperature cooperates and no ice. I don't fly as much in the winter due to bad weather, but I have found winter flying to have plenty of extra oxygen and power, bases and tops are usually lower, little or no convective bumps, ride in the clouds is smoother, with nice dry air and visibility unrestricted above. I always loved that smooth blanket below as far as the eye can see. Thanks for posting it. and you have more glass in your panel than I have plexiglass Quote
