I KNEW that was coming! Besides, we all have AOA, the question is, do you have an indicator??

Not like mine. I have a CYA 100 as in Cover Your ARSE 100. :DCYA 100A.jpg

It works as advertised. Uses a vane type mast instead of a pitot tube.

Will it continue to work after your first 100 landings? I'm still unhappy that I missed the intro special and the price has doubled . . . Oh, well, my panel is pretty full already, don't know where the FAA expects me to out any ADSB stuff, either, and I don't see the utility of 'Out' without 'In.' Unless they magically approve non-installed, battery-powered instruments . . .

Even after making Aircraft Spruce the distributor I suspect the CYA 100 is still the most economical AOA. It's easy to install, the display is very small and can be fitted almost anywhere (I put mine between the Aspen and the backup ASI.) and it is easy to calibrate and recalibrate.

 I like it and recommend it. I would suggest anyone installing it with the audio funneled through an unused channel of the audio panel. This makes it easy to kill the alert while taxiing without pulling the CB.
