M016576 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Does anyone know how much it costs to upgrade an old M20M from the -A to the -B with oil cooled guidevanes? Thanks! -Job Quote
Skywarrior Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I bet Lycoming does not subsidize the engine swap anymore. Prob. better off looking at a TLS with the Bravo engine already in place. Chuck M. Quote

M016576 Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Thanks... there's a M20M TLS without the engine mod for sale for a low low price on barnstormers, only 1400 hours total time and only 50hrs SMOH. Couple problems, though: leaky fuel tank, out of annual, doesn't have the -B mod and it's in Denmark (so would need repairs, then a ferry). Very cheap though, for a M20M.... would probably work out to be about the standard price with all the work/ferrying required.... Quote
