Shadrach Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Why does Mooney space limit the number of posts I can like? I do not "like" to neglect those that provide great content just because a specified number of other posters provided great content before them. If this cannot be changed, can someone offer an explanation of the reasoning behind it? Thanks! Quote
Hank Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 I've not run into this myself, but there is apparently a daily limit on the number of posts a person may like. Others may provide insight into the reasoning behind this (it could simply be a software operating thing) and ballpark guesses as to what the number is. Quote
Shadrach Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 It seems low to me; maybe around 8-10. If it's never been a problem for you, maybe I'm being too generous...or maybe you're just a little bit stingy! 2 Quote
carusoam Posted April 2, 2015 Report Posted April 2, 2015 The limits were probably set when there were a total of a dozen posts per day. Average time spent on MS couldn't exceed 10 minutes unless you were reading it a second time. I would say, it's probably time to raise the limit. By starting this thread, you have done the right thing in the right place. I can push the report button (adding an explanation as well) to highlight the post back at the home office. How many likes would make sense? Double, triple, infinite.... Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
Shadrach Posted April 2, 2015 Author Report Posted April 2, 2015 I don't know. If I had any idea why we are policing/rationing "likes" in the first place, I might be able to give a better answer. Mooney guys are pretty stingy as a group. See Hank's first post as an example. 1 Quote

I looked at my first post above, now I need to look for my first post ever to see if I deserve a large "CB" in my avatar. 1 Quote
bonal Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Yeah seems like lately I have been getting a lot less likes so either folks are getting more stingy or I have run out of clever insightful things to say (probably the latter) at some point dribble becomes unavoidable. Quote
mooniac58 Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 I have changed the defaults to 25 positive events and 5 negative ones per day (was 10/1 before). 4 Quote

Shadrach Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 How do you do a negative like? Seconded! I am also curious...or is a negative just the ability to take away a previous like? Quote
carl Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 I think a negative report is , like when little timmy would swear about LOP Quote
