rogerl Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Some might find this weight/balance spreadsheet useful - it is for 1978 M20J 201ZT, but could easily be adjusted for your make, model and empty weight. It was interesting to do sensitivity analysis (play around with the numbers!) and see just how hard it is to load a J out of specs (save overloading). It was created with Open Office Calc, but saved in M$ Excel '97 (hopefully - not tested outside of Calc) compatible format.Use entirely at your own risk; do not use for final decision making. http://www.softoutfit.com/WeightBalance.xls
carusoam Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 rogerl, Great spread sheet. I loaded me, my friends, camping gear and planned fuel for OSH.... we're a bit heavy but still within limits... The view needed a little modification. Dragged and dropped the graphs a little lower. They had landed on top of a set of data point charts originally. The charts were probably hidden at one point.....? Has anyone worked a spreadsheet for take-off distances... function of (pressure alt, temp, weight, wind, obstacle height, grass, humidity)? Best regards, -a-

mooney27239 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Excellent spreadsheet. I modified it for my M20E. Thanks for your work on this. If anyone wants my modified spreadsheet email me and I will send you a copy of mine.
