  1. That’s the way mine is setup also. My iPad connects to the flight stream 510 and transfers the flight plan to the 750. I get weather on the gtn but not on the iPad , so I’m thinking it’s not dropping the WiFi .
  2. Exactly. I didn’t even think about that. I will turn off the hotspot on my iPhone. Thanks
  3. Thank you I needed one for my 97 J also
  4. Perfect. Thank you all
  5. Might need to select FIS-B
  6. It gives me the options of internet comp, internet base, and FIS-B. And to the right of that it shows internet and weather is selected. Do I need to not select the Internet weather
  7. Thank you. I will definitely check on the next flight. Yes. I have the gtx 345 transponder. Makes perfect sense now. I have weather on the iPad on the ground but not in flight. This was the first time though it stopped showing the airplane on the course line and no traffic. Thanks for the insight
  8. Maybe someone can help out. So today I used my iPad to transfer the flight to the flight stream 510 and then to the gtn750. In flight Garmin pilot and the app on my phone said check your internet connection and would not display weather or the flight. It showed the map but not the airplane or anything else. No traffic . I checked the settings on the iPad and it said it was connected to the flight stream 510. Any ideas? Thanks
  9. Thanks. I just sent you a message with the shipping address. Much appreciated
  10. This would be great. I do not have one and would love to have it. Thanks
  11. Didn’t seem bad at the $900 but all that has now changed.

  13. I just noticed someone has put a redline sidewinder on eBay for $900 if anyone is looking for one. I have no affiliation with the seller , just noticed it listed
  14. Great job on the emergency landing. Proud all are safe. I will definitely start locking my baggage door from this point forward. Thanks for the video
  15. Wow. Seems like a lot of labor cost figured in the quote. I’m sure the other quote will be a lot less painful
  16. Thank you. I just emailed a Jewell and requested they be replaced. Hopefully this will help
  17. CHT,S were all running below 350. I’ve had the oil cooler sent off and completely overhauled. If this doesn’t work I might try new oil lines
  18. As the oil temp rises the pressure drops. I had it flown back to Jewell Aviation today and he is checking the baffling. Hopefully this will fix the problem
  19. I’m having about the same issues. During my cruise I’m getting high temps of 225-230 with cowl flaps half open. I’ve overhauled the oil cooler and still nothing changed. I’ve checked baffling and all is good. Just got my plane back from an engine overhaul about 3 hours ago and still having high oil temps. I’m definitely interested in any ideas that could help.
  20. It started 1 1/2 hours into the flight from the shop. I’ve had the sensor checked and all was correct.
  21. Thank you. I’ll join in
  22. Evening everyone, a few months ago I noticed that my oil temps were high in the 225-230 range with cowl flaps open. I had it at 3 different shops without anyone able to find out the cause. I’ve overhauled the oil cooler, checked baffles and still no change. I sent the plane in for an annual and long story short had the engine overhauled. I got the plane back tonight for the first time and oil temps are the same as before. Not sure what else to do. Spent a lot of money on this and still no clear resolution. Any ideas? The shop that did the overhaul is well known to do great work. I’m having it flown back to them tomorrow. Unfortunately because of my work schedule I have to hire a pilot to do this for me at added expenses. All ideas are greatly appreciated
  23. This is going to make somebody a great deal. Very nice
