  1. I am as far right as one can be...literally. Sarah Palin has no relevance in the Republican Party and I think she is only a comedic cheerleader. Nobody in the Republican Party sees her credibly holding any political office ever again. It would be as if I were an African American democrat who would sit quietly and listen to Jesse Jax. What's good about her is, they carefully choose when to use her and not, then MSNBC cums all over themselves, keeping Sarah in the 38% bracket. It is a great plan and it works. Careful, Sarah is 2008-10 news and is construed as a lib-default. There's a reason Catie Couric no longer works. Give yourself more credit.
  2. It is the O-man's life long dream is to forever be encapsulated in a democrat-liberal-Reagan-esque' version of his legacy. "Idint'" gonna happen. The parallels are amazing. Star Wars/Obamacare. Bankrupting us leaving the next party holding the bag. Nobody is grumpy......just a wide grin ear to ear, watching it all implode before our eyes. Bad policy, is bad policy. Doesn't matter who you are.
  3. Yes...this is the political game both parties play. Enact policy that bankrupts us just in time for the next political party to be left with nothing to operate their agenda. It is not stupid policy and a series of disjointed, haphazard mistakes. It is intentional from the day they enter office. But like everything else, you knew that.
  4. AndyFromCB, on 29 Jan 2015 - 7:17 PM, said: It's like I keep seeing the same Subaru or Prius drive by me with the same damn bumper stickers. Clearly this must be your "Throw Back Thursday" post.
  5. Yeah...we learned that from the Soviets. But, after 10 years, the Soviets didn't get t-h-i-s done:
  6. That's was the point I was trying to make. We have them....CA-England, not so much.
  7. Not...unlikely. Some people think they can actually see corrosion growing or maybe they can hear it actually being destructive... Please...get a full night's sleep tonight.
  8. Posturing. Trying to get it in all in this year, so he won't have to do it next year, when people are actually paying attention. People get it now. Ineffective leadership. He had me at 1.4 trillion in two stimuli, that went to union paybacks to build a bunch of flowerbeds and new city signs around the country, instead of infrastructure. He's done.
  9. Again...dot com boom, NAFTA, the advent of the micro chip, automation systems, poor trade policy, union failures and corruption, all diminished our traditional manufacturing class and made ordinary tech folks wealthy. This is how we arrived at where we are today. The 99%'ers want us to believe it is evil corporations and manipulation of the political process. Sorry. Time to stop belly aching and raise our kids for the "new world order" our friend Clinton told us about. Time to grow up. Redistribution philosophies are an albatross. A free market economy, with significantly less government will make us prosper.
  10. Mike...you could buy an old beat-up Huskie and move to the plains for fly pipeline patrol. Jobs everywhere! No wait.....buy some drones.
  11. Agreed...leave office with a record, not hiding behind Harry Reid or bunch of executive orders.
  12. I spent time in Russia in the mid 80's St. Petersburg (then, Leningrad), Novogrod and Moscow. Bring your toilet paper to the opera. And don't get lost wearing Levi's.
  13. I think the big-guy in the "Home Office" rewards, no matter how small, heroic attempts to minimize casualty.
  14. Bob, he was on BT last night. Everyone congradulated him. He said it was a connecting rod. What a great outcome.
  15. Yeah...... “After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.” Valerie Jarrett I'll have the Valerie Jarrett wiff a side of fries. The internet is a big place.....go find something comparable. Let's see...Republican Congress, no Judges..... just the first two. You know their ideology is bad when RB Ginsberg refuses to retire.
  16. Dennis McDonough, Jack Lew , Dan Phieffer, Valerie Jarret...... That's a baby-straight of Karl Rove's. And never mind the press people who are not evasive and accommodating, but overtly confrontational and adversarial. Especially the girls of "Tri-Delt" over at State.
  17. Look...POTUS is a bad guy, who has bad ideas, surrounds himself with really bad people, then together, the mess up our country. Forcing an entire country into $4k to $12k deductibles (Canada-England?) to prop up a bad law, isn't gonna solve the problem, is a bad move. It's that simple. This isn't a "fair share" solution, it is feeding the machine. It'll be filleted to 28 pages and serve its intended purpose, eventually and still be labeled "Obamacare".
  18. Yes... earlier in this thread it was you who said birthing for illegal immigrants only cost us $2,800 ea. I put my money and time where my mouth is. I have devoted more of myself to Catholic charities than your TBM fuel bill last year. You're brushing broad strokes here. You look at your software data, present it as fact, remind us "you are in the business"....make grandiose proclamations and then finally see it is more complicated. Ignorance?
  19. Your entire analysis is disqualified by your arrogance. You have to have a qualifier first to prop yourself up. Great comments, but calling someone dumb, fat and ugly, discredits everything that comes from your keyboard after that. I think "personal responsibility" should be shifted from the poor among us to the "well to-do liberals" who see them selves with all the answers as they fly above the radar. Moral responsibility can't be minced with moral superiority or, basic inferiority.
  20. They have two of them, one of which was put in service in 1990. It's time.
  21. Rob...you did purchase health through the ACA, right?
  22. I don't mind subsidizing the people who need it. What I do mind is budget shifting and power-grab, massive entitlements to do it. There is nothing the government does that provides incentive other than 8-A's (fair and just), tax breaks and few political cheerleaders. Incentive in government speak is what is known as a "subsidy".
  23. Well, something tells me there will be a virtual non-likelihood of it being fixed before 2016.
