  1. I just went through the same thing with my J model, only with the left tank. I did check with the Mooney factory and they did have the Left tank senders in stock, didn't check on RH cause I did not need them. I would contact MAC they have been real good getting parts out the same day, excellent service
  2. aerobat95 Forgot to mention my price with everything was less than $5K plus installation and calibrating.
  3. I installed a MVP-50 in my panel primarily because my avionics shop convinced me they were the best. My personal experience was that while I was shopping I had a chance to visit the JPI shop and even after calling them in advance kind of got a cold reception. Called EI and was teated totally different so when my shop said to use EI and the MVP-50 it was an easy decision. The MVP 50 was a tiny bit more expensive however my shop said it had more features. Pacific Avoinics is in the process of calibrating my unit now and so far after doing the weight and balance and programing this function, the reports I am getting is that it works great. Next to do is the fuel calibrations and other fine tuning. I don't have actual time on it yet but will report when I get my Mooney flying.
  4. I have a set of 3" extentions for sale, these are the factory ones with factory numbers that will match the parts manual. PM me or email eldon@eehomes.ca Eldon

  6. Craig, Paypal sent, I know you thought you had enough money, but wanted to participate anyway. Thank you for all your work for the past 4 years. This little extra can go towards the monthy costs which will have to be kept in any event. Besides I hope to be flying soon and will perhaps have lots of questions. Eldon 77 Mooney M20J C-GJEZ
  7. Craig, This site has been a great asset for all of us. I don't know what is required to keep this going just know I would miss it if it was not available. Eldon
  8. Hi everyone. Sadly the necessary paper work will not be completed in time for me to fly to Oshkosh 2012. So I'm leaving on the 15th of July with a van. Some of you have followed the progress on my J model and if there is any interest in any of the following surplus parts I have I could bring them to Kosh or drop them off on my way as long as generall follows the direct route from Edmonton to Oshkosh . I can send pictures to you directly if you need more info, email me at eldon@eehomes.ca I have many items not listed just let me know what you need and I will get back to you right away. I am also open to offers. 2 - Whelen Power Supply removed from my Mooney M 20J one dated 05 another 07 Mooney rear dorsal venting items removed from a 81 Mooney M20J Mooney front and rear seats removed from 1977 Mooney M20J Ventilation box removed from a 81 J model Mooney Refurbished Mooney control yokes from a 77 J model Mooney control yoke shaft assembly removed from a 79 K model Britton Industries Rate of Turn indicator from a 77 Mooney Biege Mooney side panels newly carpeted removed from my 77 Mooney M20J model Biege Mooney 3 piece baggage area panels new carpet from my 77 Mooney M20J Mooney 3 piece instrument panel from my 77 Mooney M20J Mooney glare shield from my 77 Mooney M20J Mooney fuse panel from a 81 Mooney M20J Complete Mooney interior panels including overhead that was removed from an 81 J model Fuselage fairing from my 77 J Overhead vent system from a 77J complete with fuselage scoop

  10. Thanks everyone, so far I can only visualize what it will be like to fly my Mooney. 2 1/2 years is a long time to wait. That Mooney retro-fit interior I must admit is the icing on the cake. I feel so fortunate to have been able to pick this interior up when it become available. I have some more tweeking to do, and that will come later when I get my Mooney home. Word of advise for anyone trying this in the future, don't be 700 miles away like I did during this process, next time I will take the wings off and trailer it home. I'm down to the short strokes now. Eldon
