  1. Yes & Yes. You are welcome.
  2. An impressive thunderstorm...with winds are pretty common overnight at Oshkosh. Weather looks awesome this year. Make sure that nice awning is double secret secured. Wouldn't want it to take its first flying lesson there. Great spot. Pics, good., more, thank you.
  3. First panel item I replaced. Mine was not the good little soldier that yours is. A standard size DG would be a minimal expense. Even with the shotgun panel and making a cut-out it will look and fly better than your 1930's p.o.s. gauge.
  4. Nice. What is the fourth (far right) push pull know in center?
  5. His security detail calls his long-time gal-pal-THE ENERGIZER. Nice.
  6. +1 on the heights thing... O.K. to do zip-lines and repel, but climbing the tower...standing on platform before tied in...Not good. I am unsafe on a roof and on a ladder. Maybe too many reviews of falls.... Those sure look fun, though. My sister-in-law has one. Rotax. I don't think she has operated in years, but still has it.
  7. And THAT IS WHO YOU ARE. A little man with a lot of money.
  8. May have to sell my share in the Mooney as ASSfromCB is going to take me to court and put me in the poor house...
  9. In other news AssfromCB states he will sue me for all I am worth...
  10. I would replace the bulb. Cheap added safety.
  11. You guys are "Nutty"...
  12. Sorry to hear about this...Bad couple of weeks for GA and Commercial Aviation.
  13. Wouldn't that be a Tactic?
  14. A whole new meaning to blast...heh, heh. Funny.
  15. Not a big deal. There is likely a cotter pin at rear of tracks. Remove and push seat back off tracks and up/out. Carpet is commonly glued with an adhesive. Talking 30 minutes to do this...
  16. There is a thread on this. I did measurements and listed. Look for it. On a standard wood paint stick.
  17. I thought it was "FAT-B _ _ _ _ _ D?
  18. Anybody that buys/owns an airplane is NOT CHEAP. If they Buy/Own a Mooney they are W.I.S.E-Wealthy, Insured, Safe, Efficient...or is that Excentric?
  19. You can not get more USA than Iowa...
  20. Glad the little pumper deuce got 'r done Aaron. Safe travels, Scott
  21. There is a late-model Mooney out of Council Bluffs. Track him down. A lot closer to you than Monticello...
  22. Brian O. at Monticello Aviation MXO has serviced my and other vintage Mooney's for over a decade. He knows the M20 Airframe, but is NOT a Mooney service center. He is pretty busy in the summer (crop dusters base out of there during season) and services a lot of corporate aircraft to include a SkyRaider. I would trust him to make an evaluation on an M20 airframe. Good luck, Scott
  23. "Am I the only one that resents the word "amateur" pilot? "-Flyboy quote Are you offended if someone calls you an amateur golfer? If you don't do it for money....and I definitely don't fly FOR money. You/we are amateur's...
