Learning to fly this , just seems like constantly chasing temps…took off 34 inches full rich , pulled back for climb to 2500 and 30 inches fuel to 1550 tit rich … then about 29 inches over 6000 2400 , and 1550 tit , cht’s and oil temp , we’re not manageable unles I opened the cowl flaps , most of the trip was at 14500 , and started descent 75 out… I realize I am oversimplifying this , but all suggestions are welcome..

  7. This is not a piece I would particularly save , #1 , the holes will NOT line up , #2 its a standard extrusion , Just buy a piece , and match drill it to the one you remove...
  8. Pretty sure the noswheel is hitting the doors.. needs a shim on the top of the stack under the collar..
  9. Website says call sales… I was told that when they moved location , they had to reapply for pma , which could be a nightmare… not sure if this is completely accurate, or hangar talk , so take it as such until verified..

I am just putting a K model back into annual , First non test flight will be a 600 mile trip , in the 16000 foot range , It has old school engine temp gages , Intercooler , and Merlyn... digital fuel flow , and digital temp on the intercooler , Took it for a short test flight , Had no problem making and holding 40 inches of MP , What are good settings / fuel flows , I havent owned a turbo in many years , and the last was a P210.... Thanks in advance ,
  14. I always have the tools , but they never leave the hangar , unless I am using them…. Not in the rental business…. I also usually use a ratchet strap , to compress the discs…

  16. I have 4 elevators from f body’s , they are smooth skins , and have the updated weights , 1000 dollars each Alan 856 419 5209 , I am not parting them out for the weights… The AD grounds them in 4 days...

Epoxy would not be a legal repair , If they are indeed lead , and not an alloy , ( pretty sure they are an alloy , as they are not soft like lead) , you could rebuild them and log it as a repair , Referencing part 43 , also , you could run thge part # , a NOS part IS legal , if you can find one..
  18. A G1000 is not , and can NOT be legally fitted to a 231 , He is selling the nav com processors , 2 boxes that go in the back of the plane... A G1000 is a certified part of the airframe...
  19. The white sticker indicates , that it was in for service in 2017... Good sign..
  20. 2750 Will have 7666A -2 blades , may or may not be current with ECI ... I sold Brent one last year ..same price
